Understanding God’s ways requires not only opening our hearts, but also using our heads. Faithful discernment is marked by experience and reason. As we reflect on our experiences, God continues to reveal Godself to us. Today’s readings emphasize the importance of wisdom in using our time in Christlike living.

Photos and other archival material
A big ‘thank you!’ is due to those who have loaned their photos and other items relating to the history of St Johns.
The exercise has grown from only photos to include other items such as special orders of service, various congregational activities, building alteration consents, building usage over the years, ministers and other leadership people, etc.
Therefore, while we are doing this exercise, we might as well pool all that we have and make an archive for the future.
Again, thank you to all who have or soon will be loaning material for scanning and recording.
