Entertainment Books:- Hi everyone the entertainment books are here in the office again for $65 if anyone would like to purchase one please contact me or leave a note on my desk on Sunday. For each book sold we raise $13 to help towards our budget shortfalls so your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you Jeannine

 

School Holiday Programme 7-11 July 14:- 4 For the next holiday programme we will be needing plastic milk bottles, newspapers and cardboard boxes, so please can you start collecting and if you can put them in the main office for Jeannine. Thank you very much.

 

June Fellowship Meeting:_ Be sure to keep Tues. 24 June free at 10.00a,m. to attend our Fundraiser movie BELLE at the Monterey Cinema in Howick. The price of $15 includes coffee and a scone before the movie. $3 goes to St Johns. The movie will begin at 10.30. Do invite your friends. We have a 40 seat cinema booked. This is a very good movie about the Abolition of Slavery and a charming love story. I loved it. Sign up on the clip board in the foyer and please pay Loas before 15 June when the deposit is due.

 

Homestay needed:- A friend of the Korean Pastor, Joseph Lee, is looking for a Kiwi Homestay near the Maclean’s zone. Please contact Lorraine if you may be able to assist.

 

Our House:- This Monday 2 June from 9.30am for approximately 1 hour, followed by morning tea. Let’s work on keeping our house clean together.

 

Trade Aid Stall:- After church today, there will be a stall selling a range of Trade Aid’s products including coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, dried fruits and greeting cards.

 

Real Life with John Cowan:- : This Sunday night (1st June) John Cowan's guest will be Netball New Zealand CEO, Hilary Poole.

 

On Behalf of the Property Team:- Thank you for your contribution to the Thanksgiving Offering this year. We have continued our stewardship tradition and used it to replace the heating needs of the building. We have completed the installation of the heat pumps (did you notice) in the Worship Room. The remaining 40 year old heaters in the building will be replaced in coming weeks.

 

CHURCH PHONE BOOK:- The church phone book is due to be re printed. Please double check your entries in the phone book and please add or remove any information that is no longer relevant. Once this process is complete I will reprint the new book. If you are new to the church and wish for your details to be added please write your details on the blank pages added at the back. Please initial next to your name that you are happy for the details to still remain in the phone book and that they are correct. Thank you Jeannine

 

Anglican Bishops letters:- A message from the Bishops of Aotearoa, The senior Bishop of the New Zealand Dioceses and the Bishop of Polynesia on same sex marriage is on the column in the foyer.

 

Bible in Schools:- They are in need of teachers for this year. If you are interested there is a print out of the details on the column in the foyer.

Children @ Risk Prayer Week 22-29 June. There are little brochures in the foyer on the small table to help you with the messages of prayer for children over this week please take one if you would like to help.
